Hi, I'm Lee Young...
I'm not your typical photographer who picked up a camera at a young age, as I truly didn't get into the art of photography until my late teens.
The entire reason I got started with Photography & Videography was because I had a huge passion for drones. The incredible opportunity to witness the world from the unique vantage points up in the sky was breathtaking. In 2018 I completed a Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot - VLOS), igniting the flame of my creative pursuits I didn't know I had in me...
Following on from my foray into Drones, I developed an interest in digital photography and this quickly became an obsession. Which began my journey behind the camera, unveiling a whole new realm of exploration into the capabilities of equipment and the limitless creative possibilities that arose.
With each click of the shutter, the flame burned brighter and brighter and I found myself diving deeper into the artistry, seeking innovative angles and compositions, capturing memories and framing scenes from unique perspectives.
From that moment on, photography & videography became more than just a hobby, it became an expression of my vision, a powerful way through which I could share my unique perspective with the world and leave a lasting impact..
The willingness to learn how to achieve the best results has constantly pushed me further along this career path.
Brisbane Festival 2024 drone show
From 19-21st of September I got the opportunity to be a part of the Nova Sky Stories Drone Crew. Helping them conclude this year’s Brisbane Festival. We successfully ran 9 shows across 3 nights at South Bank. Launching 400 Drones into the night sky! The crowd was wild!!
Huge thank you to Sue Osborn and the rest of the team for having me out! I learned so much into what goes on behind the scenes and how much time and dedication the team spends putting this all together. It was incredible!
